Titan Clearfield Sunflower Seed | Thiram Treated

Size 4 For 2026

Large Seed Heads for Dove Fields & Wildlife Food Plots

Titan Sunflower Seed with Clearfield technology is a high-performance sunflower hybrid engineered for superior weed control, strong agronomic performance, and excellent yield potential. Designed for commercial sunflower production, wildlife food plots, and managed dove fields, Titan delivers outstanding adaptability across a wide range of growing environments while providing growers with the flexibility and confidence needed for modern crop management systems.

Titan Sunflower is especially valued for its large, uniform seed heads, which produce abundant seed volume and create highly attractive feeding areas for doves and other game birds. The oversized heads help maximize seed production and improve seed retention throughout the season, making Titan an excellent choice for dove hunting fields, wildlife habitat enhancement, and recreational land management.

Featuring Clearfield herbicide tolerance technology, Titan Sunflower enables post-emergent weed control with approved imidazolinone herbicides, helping reduce competition from difficult broadleaf and grassy weeds. This advanced weed management system promotes cleaner fields, improved crop establishment, and enhanced harvest efficiency.

Titan Sunflower Seed is professionally treated with thiram fungicide to help protect seedlings during germination and early growth stages. Thiram seed treatment helps reduce seed rot and damping-off diseases caused by soilborne pathogens, improving stand establishment and promoting vigorous early-season development.

Dove Field & Wildlife Management Recommendations

For optimal dove field establishment, plant Titan Sunflower Seed during the recommended spring or early summer planting window for your region. The large seed heads help provide extended feeding opportunities throughout dove season. Proper mowing, strip disking, or field manipulation in accordance with local wildlife regulations can help maximize bird activity and feeding success.

Agronomic Recommendations

For best performance, plant when soil temperatures consistently reach at least 50°F and danger of severe frost has passed. Proper fertility management, weed control, and timely irrigation practices will maximize yield potential, seed production, and field attractiveness.

Seed Treatment Notice

This seed has been treated with thiram fungicide. Handle treated seed carefully and follow all label instructions for storage, handling, and planting. Treated seed is intended for planting purposes only and must not be used for food, feed, or oil processing.

Storage & Handling

Store seed in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Maintain proper airflow and handling conditions to preserve seed quality and germination performance.

Sort of good for tough chewers??
Color: Deep Roots Carrot - Small, Size: Small Dog
The actual carrot part (orange part) is tough chewer approved and my dog loves. It’s basically the same shape and size as his kong. However the leaves (green part) is not tough chewer approved. He ripped ALL those leaves off and ate them within 5 minutes of me giving him the toy. However they passed through him fine.

Pretty hard to clean
Color: Cinamutt Roll - Large, Size: Large
We've had this for about a week now. I have 2 dogs, one small one about 55lb. I bought this for my big girl, but lil man is determined to get the best of this toy. Usually they don't both go after the same toys, so this is interesting. The trouble is, neither one of them can get all the treats out if something makes it all the way down into the crevice. It's surprisingly deep. The up side is that they'll try for quite a while before giving up. The down side is even if you put it in the top rack of the dishwasher, something stuck deep in there isn't going anywhere until you dig it out yourself. I tried a plastic knife but it broke the second time I used it in there. I wound up using the metal handle of a reusable straw cleaner. Which then I had to wash that, too. Then it needs to dry overnight before it can be used again. All in all, the dogs like it fine, it's gross to scrape out and wash, takes longer than most toys to dry, and I have the feeling that will eventually cause me to pass it to someone else's dog long before my two have gotten tired of it. At this point I'm pulling out of the toy rotation for a week or two because I'm not ready to clean it a third time.
